I personally LOVE this! It is a cute duck. I understand he is wearing a helmet and in outer space. The colors are great and I like your shading and lighting on the feathers.

However, I would suggest adding more shading/light/dimension on the beak. The beady eyes are fine, I think they are cute, I believe that is just a matter of personal taste. Don't be afraid to use pure white in thin streaks along the edge of things like the beak or legs. Shiny Shiny <3

The duck itself, while lovely, seems to be standing. It is standing on nothing. Perhaps making it so the duck looked to be flying or floating in space would help. Maybe even have the duck on a diagonal to show there is no up or down in space and to show more of a free floating atmosphere.

The helmet looks more like a bubble, which is fine, and I like all the light reflecting off of it because there are so many stars in outer space. What I would like to see however, and this is a suggestion: To add a transparent gradient of color on the helmet/bubble. Darker on one side, lighter on the other. This would make it feel more like an enclosed spherical space the duck's head is in. Make sure the reflecting lights you have are not dulled down from it though.

And one last thing: Try to be careful- you have tiny spots where you forgot to erase around the duck in space. It happens. I always end up editing my pngs because of things like that.

OVERALL: GREAT WORK! Can't wait to see more!
